With my earlier two breast surgeries which were done rather hurriedly and shabbily, I was extremely hesitant and anxious going in for a third one, but correction was essential in my case. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to Dr. Sahasrabudhe. I am seventeen and live in the United States. Because my chin lacked projection, I was suggested chin augmentation. I was always the fattest person my friends and family knew since I was twelve. I decided to do something about it at the age of 40 in 2008. With an enthusiastic approach to lifestyle change,, which meant intelligent eating choices and regular exercise, I managed to get my weight from over 100 to below 80 kgs.

The weightloss made me feel good and healthy. However, the fat on my tummy would not budge and no matter how hard I tried, my body image and self-esteem remained low. I said to him defensively that I should probably look in the maternity section, that this is not for me. He sent me into the trial room nonetheless.

I walked out in jeans and a t-shirt. Something I had never done, since I was twelve.

My lifestyle management coupled with Parag's skill has given me a good body image and a boost to my self-esteem.

In a way, even though it can be considered cosmetic surgery, it was surgery for my soul in the end.

Testimony for Dr. Parag Sahasrabudhe

So, this goes back in October 2011, when I succumbed to an accident of “Drink & Drive” case. I was on the side of the road on my bike and I was just about to start when I was ramped on the side of the road onto a tree by an SUV car. I had just got my first offer letter for a job after completing my studies.

That very evening, I lost my left heel and lot of my foot in that accident. Somehow by god’s grace, I was taken in care of Dr. Parag who literally saved my life and saved my leg from getting amputated. I remember the first time I saw him; I could barely talk or understand what was going around me. But just looking at him and his confidence that everything will be alright (even though we knew after the operation that nothing was easy or alright and it was one of the most critical surgeries), made me strive hard to not give up.

With almost 7-8 surgeries and lot many infections later, I could finally stand and start walking after a year and have had a pretty adventurous time thereafter. Thanks to him and his team who could make it possible.

Off course, people have the perception that a cosmetic surgeon can make you/your body part beautiful. But for me, even though the leg looked pretty terrifying (mostly for others), I embraced it as for me, I could walk because of him.

Now 10 years later, straight in year Jan 2022, after lot of discussions and gathering all my courage and much needed confidence from him (again), we decided to have yet another corrective surgery to reduce the size of my left foot, make it more aesthetically in line with the other foot and importantly clear all the probable infections I have been carrying on for 10 years. The surgery went absolutely amazing and me talking in my unconsciousness state of mind to one of the Anaesthetics doctors in the OT that “I am going to take Dr. Sahasrabudhe on a date ????”. That is what his aura was even on the OT. ????

It’s been 3 months post-surgery and my leg looks beautiful; I feel less of discomfort. I do not see random people screening my leg and approaching me to ask “What has happened to your leg???” … & other questions followed by. Importantly I started walking within few weeks of my operation. Though it will still be a slow & steady progress and might still take some more time, I am happy that I can walk more comfortably in the shoes/footwear I could never, for a decade.

Dr. Parag Sahasrabudhe is a terrific person with a terrific personality and hell lot of knowledge. Whenever I look at the leg, I wonder, how the hell he must have done the operation and so many questions that pop my mind. I still wonder. That’s the art which he carries. I can now confidently say that “One doesn’t need a God to keep one alive, one just needs a doctor in the form of an angel to protect you in your worst”.

One of the most important things I noticed about his work ethics, is that he is fucking blunt and not a sugar-coated person. You need to have a heart of steel to listen to the facts and accept (depending on the criticality off course). He is not someone who will give false hopes or portray a picture which will not come true. You will not get any better person/doctor who is hard from outside but soft from inside and equally cares and follows up with the patient. If you decide to get yourself treated, I can assure you that you are in the best of the hands in not the just the town but the country.

Also, not just him, but his entire team of doctors, assistants, including the lovely ladies at the reception at the OPD    (Revive Laser Centre) will make you comfortable whenever you visit them. So, your anxiety will reduce at least a little considering the situation one is in.

Giving a review for Dr. Sahasrabudhe is an understatement. One cannot rate him or his work. Its beyond my worth. It is impossible to write a review, because it’s a chapter of my life in which Dr. Sahasrabudhe has been a part of and will continue to remain. I am happy that I have him and I will continue to torture him all my life ????.
